Herb Huang

Hello there! This is Herb Huang, a PhD Candidate in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management at the University of Texas at Dallas—Naveen Jinal School of Management. My research concentrates on Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management. My dissertation examines boomerang hiring—why and when organizations rehire former employees—with a focus on how recruiters evaluate these candidates.

As an organizational researcher, I study organizational cognition: how people make sense of others at work. I also research on employee mobility: how and why people move within and between organizations. My research agenda answers questions regarding how and why individuals understand their work surroundings before, during, and after employment with an organization.
